While we consider all of our employees “family” we were thrilled when Ben’s son, Alex Walker, recently joined in on the family business.
Alex currently attends Westwood High School. He’s been tinkering around with welding for a couple of years, and working with his father, Ben, during school vacations and weekends for about the same time. Last summer he couldn’t work with Affordable Custom Welding because football took most of the summer. No football this summer so he’s been out with Ben nearly every day. He is learning quickly and doing well with the crazy hours. And getting paid for it!
We’re so proud to have Alex working with us this summer and thrilled to see how well he’s doing! If we come out to your home or business to do some welding this summer, chances are you’ll see Alex. Be sure to say “hi!”
